Some emotional bonds do not resolve automatically after the loss of a loved one.
Unspoken words, unresolved emotions, guilt, anger, confusion, or longing can remain active internally and continue to influence thoughts, emotional responses, and life choices — often outside of conscious awareness.
This session is designed to support emotional processing and integration following loss, helping you loosen internal attachments that keep part of your attention anchored in the past, so you can move forward with greater clarity, emotional balance, and presence.
Purpose of the Session
Grief is not only about loss — it is also about the internal relationship that remains when emotional processing is incomplete.
This work focuses on:
· identifying unresolved emotions connected to the relationship
· processing unfinished emotional responses
· reframing internal narratives that sustain emotional distress
· restoring a sense of psychological completion
The intention is not to forget or erase the relationship, but to change how it is carried internally, so it no longer restricts your present life.
What This Session Addresses
Within a safe, guided therapeutic space, we work with emotional awareness, memory, and meaning-making to bring clarity to what remains unresolved.
You may become aware of:
· unexpressed thoughts or emotions
· emotional attachments that remain psychologically active
· beliefs or interpretations that sustain guilt, conflict, or longing
· new perspectives that support understanding and resolution
Through structured guidance, you are supported in acknowledging what was never fully processed and reshaping your internal relationship with the person who has passed.
This is not about reliving the past, but about integrating it in a way that supports your present wellbeing.
How We Work Together
During the session, I guide you through a trauma-informed, focused therapeutic process that supports emotional awareness and resolution.
The work may include:
· accessing emotional material in a regulated and grounded manner
· giving expression to thoughts or feelings that were previously held internally
· reframing the relationship through a broader, more adaptive perspective
· releasing emotional weight that no longer serves your current life
The process is paced carefully and remains within your capacity at all times.
