Soul Star Activation

The Soul Star – the 8th Chakra or Vyapini in Sanskrit, is the seat of the soul. It is essential to our purpose, life mission and connection to a greater spiritual and universal consciousness. In other words, it is fundamental.
So what is the Soul Star? Let’s start at the beginning. Chakras are spheres of energy or light that run along the spine in an energetic sheath called the central column of light. Each chakra supports the balance, health and well-being of the whole: mind, body and spirit. In contrast to this more common conception of seven chakras, there is a system of twelve chakras. The latter system includes the Soul Star among five additional chakras located outside the physical body.
The 8th Chakra has an additional important function. It connects us to other dimensions or worlds, including those used in past life regression.

Where is it located?
The Soul Star is located approximately 12 inches above the head.

All chakras are frequencies of light and subtle resonance. Each is associated with a color that corresponds to its frequency. The frequency of Vyapini is (1074 Hz) and its color is white or the presence of all frequencies of visible light. Some sources say its color is more golden.

Soul Star and Connection to All That Is
Vyapini is our connection or gateway to the larger universe, the cosmos or “all that is”. It is the seat of our subconscious mind and interacts with our dream space.

Because both the soul star and the crown chakra are related to spiritual connection, there is confusion about the specific purpose of each chakra and how they differ.

The crown chakra represents our individual or ego-based relationship with spirit and the cosmic universe. From the perspective of the crown chakra, we see ourselves as separate entities, and it is through the crown that we connect and receive guidance. In contrast, the soul star is the point where the dualistic nature becomes one. We and “all that is” merge completely.

The Dualism of Life
The soul star is the fusion of the spiritual dualism of life on earth (us as apparent and distinct individuals) with the spiritual unity in which we recognize that there is no separate self, but rather one universal consciousness, all that is.

Due to its unique position, the soul star chakra is our connection to our “higher self.” Our higher self is what some would refer to as our “real self,” “true self,” “authentic self,” or “knowing self.” It is the part of us that is not burdened by our incarnated (i.e. embodied) experience. This incarnated experience is defined by our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and our sense that we are somehow separate from all that is. In other words, it is unconstrained by our earthbound life experience of what “reality” is. The Soul Star, on the other hand, has perfect clarity on both sides: the earth and the universal field.

The Transformation Point
Because the Soul Star is this transformation point, it is sometimes considered the seed and origin of the seven lower chakras that relate to us as an incarnated entity. The energy and influence of the 8th chakra is infused into all of our energy bodies and therefore our entire existence.

The Gift of a Balanced and Clear Soul Star Chakra
When our Soul Star is balanced, we have clarity about our purpose and why we are choosing this incarnation. Therefore, it can clarify and orient us to our soul purpose. It can help us overcome our limiting beliefs. Our authentic self is more easily revealed and can guide us with precision when the Soul Star is balanced and clear. Thus, we move through a meaningful life with conviction and ease.

Signs of an unbalanced Soul Star Chakra
Overactive Soul Star
The signs of an overactive Soul Star are similar to those of an overactive Crown Chakra: we may be ungrounded, feeling disassociated from the earth, confused, spacey, aimless, “blowing in the wind,” daydreaming excessively, unsettled, and directionless. In addition, we may have an obsession with spirituality and enlightenment. Physically, an overactive Soul Star can lead to headaches and dizziness.

Weak Soul Star

A weak Soul Star can manifest as a longing without clarity or the ability to identify a purpose or intention. Constant craving is a good way to describe this. We may feel lazy or stuck. Emotionally, a weakness can manifest itself through anxiety, cynicism, depression, and generalized distrust. We may lack faith, both spiritually and physically.
